Ok maybe I can chime in.
I am 24 right now, and my parents paid for me up till this week. They where nice enough to pay for a roof, food, gas, and insurance. I graduated in October and finely found a job this month. Been working for 3 weeks now and I am getting the bills. Its hurts, my first check is gone, and some of the second.
I was worried at the time about school so I didn’t pick up a job. But I NEVER asked for a car. Give you ole man a break. I’ve been in a 95 explorer for 6 years now. And at the current rate all have it another 6 months before I get a Z.
So basically life is going easy for ya now, but when you get into the real world it bites, and bites hard. Heck it hurts and I am still not paying rent or utilities at the moment.
As for a price. Dallas, Tx

My parents can easily afford to buy me a car so I can just go to school and mooch off of them till I'm 23. I guess my parents care enough to prepare me for something called the real world where sh*t doesn't always go your way. I just tured 20, I dont live at home, I'm in the middle of my 2nd year in college and work full time at an insurance company HAHA now my Epenis is the BIGGEST!!! I'm not hating the OP I'm just laughing at him.

It all depends on what your parents want to do. If they are willing to spend as much as a new one go for that. If they want to pay cash and spend around $20k then go for a used one.
To all you haters, let the damn kids parents buy him a car. It sucks that your parents didn't buy you cars but why can't this kid get one? I work hard and make damn good money but I am always welcome to handouts.
