Default Nissan actually gave me something free.

Well as some of you know im going on my second tranny replacement. They have authorized a free 100,000 mile warantee (after asking a bunch of times) Its not much for all thr troubles, but its something. How much is that worth anyway?
Also does anyone think i can/should ask for anything else, if so, what? Nothing crazy, but you know.

Just felt like telling you guys....... If you dont ask for it, you wont get it!

Glad to hear that. My guess is its worth between 600-1000. It may be transferable which increase the resale a bit. I would be happy, but of course only if the repairs resulted in a reliable car for you to drive and enjoy.

Default how much?

It's worth more than that.

I paid 1200 for the 5yr/75K gold plan.

Same here and I only mentioned it twice to NNA after my tranny was replaced. I was told it retails for $1800. Now, as to how much the dealers would charge you for it, who knows? I am sure it'll be different in each case.
