I need the fourm's opinion...
I recommend putting it back to stock, sell the parts and the car and buy a stock 07 and use what ever mods you want from your current Z. The more I think about this, I will probably do just that; put is as close to stock as I can and sell both the car and the parts.
But why do you feel the need for an auto now? I would like a stick because I am just tired of shifting and I would like my wife to be able to drive it sometimes.
Wish I could afford to buy cars tinker with them and let them sit in a warm garage but I have to drive my toys. I am lucky to have the income to be able to do that. I would hope the same for all of us Z people.

Keeping it...I actually took a fourm members advise and tracked the car. I was beating the crap out of a lot of other cars, and a couple Z's.
Maybe I'll sell it someday.

ZZZ350, If I recall correctly I pretty clearly stated that I have chosen to keep it for the time being. I'm not sure what could be more straight forward than that....or, as you so eliquently put it, "unless of course you are a gal, then that explains everything."
Cozmo, I couldn't disagree more. The cars with mods that are not worth more than stock seem to be the overdone cars. Tasteful mods that are useful are clearly sought after. Let's say I put stock suspension and a stock exhaust on my car. Are you telling me that sways, engine air flow items, wheels, big brakes and a corrected ECU would bring the same dollars as stock? Everything else has a purpose and only enhances the car. I honestly think that they would yeild more money. How much more is up for debate, but I am sure it would be enough to reflect a difference in sale price.
Not that this matters much, but after my last session at the track, I was approached by 3 people (one of them a Z guy) and they all were asking about the car. After seeing it on the track and looking up close, 2 of them were talking about a possible sale. I explained that I had thought about it, but had chosen to keep it and track the car and enjoy what it could really do. One guy actually was talking really good money; about $7,000 over stock value to be exact. I almost took him up it, but tracking this car was the best thing for me. I now know why everyone was telling me to do so...I'm hooked.
Bumpinjeep....nice rides, but I have never been a fan of the Mercedes line. They are just not my thing. Nice cars, just not my taste. Now an M series BMW would be nice, but I think the Z is a better value at the end of the day.
