I was just surfing www.drudgereport.com for news and Drudge has a link about the new Z from the Taipei Times:

Good find. I think its interesting how similar this article is to several other articles we have read. I wonder if Nissan sends out a bunch of quotes and then the author just ties all the quotes together with his own words.

Exactly. The PR department sends a press release to media outlets giving the spin they wish to achieve. The media can then just rewrite as they wish without ever seeing the product. No critical evaluation for the reader when this happens.
