A lot of them compare their cars because they are modded and it's easier to make remarks because of that. Looks are totally subjective so I don't take any of that to heart. I enjoy both platforms a lot though.

Even the supra and 300ZX though, and I thought our car was heavy
Remember those cars both have backseats, the supra has a cast-iron block engine, and the 300ZX engine isn't wimpy either. Our cars have no back seat and an aluminum engine block so it's easy to see where 2 or 3 hundred pounds can get lost, or added.

AWD is what made the VR-4 so heavy. Look at the lesser models and they lose a couple hundred pounds.

Whats funny is they are saying 13.4 for a $35k isn't impressive. I know the guy they are referring to. He has a base, which probably did not cost more than $26k OTD.

So now its a 15 y/o car that is really not as sexy as they claim (VR-4 >>> Stealth though), which cost $50-60k 10-15 years ago, versus a new car that cost $25-30k less than the VR4 did, is probably a little faster, and looks better? Eh. Whatev. To each their own.

I just don't see how you can compare an AWD TT car to a RWD NA car... That doesn't make sense. If they really want to argue who makes the better car compare the VR-4 to the new Skyline But for real, reliability... We got them killed

97 VR-4 MSRP = $47,000 ish
07 Enth MSRP = $32,000 ish

Not even in the same price range. Who cares how old it is. The Vr-4 people are funny. I'll give credit where credit is due, the VR-4 is a darn nice car, but I wouldn't want it for reliability reasons and it's heavy and old. Back in the day if I had the money I probably would have got one. I remember being young and being like... I WANT ONE.... lol, but today, naw.

Hey guys, I'm the guy who made the 07 350z thread on 3si.org. I never posted before but have been on this board for a while, since a good number of my friends own 350z's and G35's.

Please don't mind some of the idiots on our board who posted on the thread. We recently got an influx of stupid n00bs, referred to as class of 06. Trust me, we want them out of our board a lot more than you guys do.. A good number of members on our board drive cars other than 3000GT / Stealths, and most of us appreciate nice, quick cars like 350z / G35.

Just wanted to take this moment to say hi

I think of the Z as the band Tool: a very popular yet still "cultish" or "underground" phenom...There are very few cars in the world with the history and following of the Z. You can always buy a "better" car, but not many are as recognizable or suave as the Z. They can have their VR4's. You won't hear me posting about my complaints with my car. I know what I bought and I don't regret it...
Are you trying to say that Z owners are tools lol

I know what you mean prime, i love your 3k. I did the switch, I still have my 3000gt, but it has been down for 3 years, did a tt conversion and never got it finished. I really do miss it though.

The car i owned before my 350z was a Vr4. With a manual boost controller, downpipe, fuel controller, and some 100 octane it went 12.7@107.6 at a nearby track, even with some insanely high elevation. Defedently fast cars, but .... i did sell it for a 350z for a reason.. gotta love the z
