( I deleted Gish's statements because they were rude and uncalled for. Consider this strike one. - JmanZ )

Dude, that's not called for, c'mon. If a dealer was demanding over MSRP for a Z I'd walk away too. MSRP is ridiculous enough.

I don't know if I'd get a TT, but still...

This is uncalled for, don't you think. I believe Gish should grow up and do it on another site.

I pretty sure "cute" is from a direct quote straight from the Audi TT brochure

If he really wanted the Z he could have tried a different dealer, so I guess he wasn't too enthusiastic about it. Anways good luck witht the chick car.

Zapta,

I'd have to agree with the other poster who stated that if you really wanted a Z, you would have shopped around a bit more. Many of us had to contact multiple dealers to get a fair deal. I personally called 12 before I ordered.

So I think you just wanted a TT, and that's fine.

But now that you have decided on the TT, are you sure you don't want to wait around for 8 months until you actually get it? By not having to wait, you are missing out on a whole lotta fun!

everyone is ripping on this dude for a "cute" audi TT, but don't u all think that the 350z shares some front end styling cues with the TT? I definitely see a resemblance.

Errrr...no. The TT front is much more rounded. I dont see the resemblance. I have also seen the car in person and it looks agressive, really agressive. Like the guy himself said, TT looks "cute." I am not saying its a bad thing. Just not my cup of tea.

Just out of curiosity,
Do you mind telling how much you paid? I like the TT, it is a nice car..."cute" whatever...I think it looks nice....my understanding is that they cost alot more however. Enjoy your new car.

$33,404 for the Touring/AT; No Nav or splash guards. With tag, tax and title around $35, 000. Add in the difference for trading out the stock tires. Your Audi will cost more, I'm thinking.

the front of the TT is more rounded than the 350z, but i guarentee you, put a corvette, TT, s2000, boxster, and 350z up in a line up, and ask "which 2 look the most alike"...99% of people will chose the TT and 350z. This isn't a rip on the 350z. I think the Z is much more aggressive looking, but I also think they share some similar design features and characteristics (especially the way the front end was designed).
