No rain crashes yet with Michelins, keeping my fingers crossed.
+1000 that you're okay. When you look back on this years from now, you being okay will be the big thing to remember.

Well I thought if I got rid of some weight I might be faster. I had some really bald Nitto 555's and the wheels now belong to AAA. Sorry and it was a 2004 enthusiast with the stock lights. I was actually getting tires this week, not anymore. Looking at a evo 9, but I think insurance is gonna screw me on my settlement. The crash was my fault for hitting the puddle, but if I hadn't corrected my angle of drift I would not be here. The car is way faster with the front right tire in the passenger seat

If you had any sensibilities or real skills, you would have been more careful and not crashed.

man you are one mean person... i've been watching your responses to people's accident/wreck threads and you have NO mercy. mistakes are made, regretful things happen. why must you make people feel worse than they already do? hell, that one guy is in the hospital in critical condition and you still feel it's your place to rip him a new one.

I realize mistakes happen and people do stupid things, but if they can't handle a little hazing from peers after they do something stupid, they shouldn't be doing things that get them into these kinds of situations.
As in Kurt's case, I was simply correcting the fact that he said he was correcting the angle of his "drift", in which case he sounds like he was intentionally drifting, which he wasn't. He slid out of control be cause he was driving too fast on a wet road with balding tires. Come on, you have to admit, that was not an intelligent thing to do. How many times have you heard "Don't drive with balding tires because it's dangerous."
Is it better to keep posting "I hope you feel better soon!" instead?

spf4000--i agree with almost all your points, don't get me wrong. people of all ages drive like fuccing idiots.. rush hour traffic in LA especially scares the **** out of me cuz there's always some guy [and it's almost always a guy]that thinks he's some kind of speedracer, or some spaced out idiot of a female yapping on the phone with her mocha in one hand and a cigarette in the other, behind the wheel of a two ton SUV. believe me, i'm on your side here. my only issue/point was that the other guy who's in the hospital is already going to suffer for the rest of his life, he's probably never going to even be back on the boards to read our posts considering what some are saying about permanent brain damage. incidents like this are sobering and slap us back into reality and i agree, "hope you feel better soon" posts are crap but do you not feel any grief or pity for his family and friends?
