Hope the kids recover well and soon. But this goes to show you that the Z is a very safe car. I would rather have the car split in many pieces as long as the occupants survive. When the Enzo crashed in Malibu, CA, same thing happened, the car was split in two pieces and the driver walked.

It's wrong. Channel 2 news sucks. Other two stations got it right; age was given as 20.

wow.. thats pretty sad, I hope everyone recovers from it.

sucks to hear about situations like this.. Seriously..save the street racing for the track.

I didn't think people still street raced.. or maybe its because I'm getting old and not in touch with the youth anymore...

that is what you get for street racing. if you want race, do it on the race track, and not on the steet.

Knowing this world, I bet he comes after you threatening lawsuit because he was responsible enough to own a sports car.

Not that side airbags would have made much of a difference in this level of an accident.

its says:

The 21-year-old driver suffered a head injury, and his girlfriend, the front-seat passenger, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Where are you getting 16 from?
