Default Issue with a Sponsor, no item month and a half later

So I bought a item from a my350z Sponsor about a month and 22 days ago. For about 500$. He said it would take 1-2 weeks to get to me and that would be it.

Ok just for some numbers. I paid on Feb. 26th. Was told 1-2 weeks and march 26th is when I was offered the refund, I said yes. Than on the 5th of april was asked to send my paypal email again... So I did. Then yesterday I am offered a different item then the 1 I wanted.

I am curious as what to do in this situation. I could request my money back from paypal since I have yet to be given a item. But figued I would try here first...

edited: to add my350z sponsor on this site :-)

I think he's talking about a sponsor of the site, not his own sponsor. I tell him you're giving him 2 more days to send you back your money or you will get it through paypal.

Two weeks is an estimate. I don’t buy jack unless it in stock. I’m going to assume that the retailer charged you for an item that the do not even have. Welcome to the world of internet auto parts.

Get your money back, learn from the experience and post the name of the site sponsor so others don't have the same problem.

I admire you for not slamming them yet online. i would point them to the thread and ask whats going on. i would also want fast shipping if available.

Danisr, I agree that not slamming them is a good thing, but don't you think exposing what they have done to the fourm is important, along with identfying them so other buyers can be more careful?

I will post his name soon if I do not get my refund. That is the part that bugs me the most, I am offered a refund I accept. A week later no refund than I msg him. He ask for my paypal email again, than week later offers me a different item.

I believe he is in a different time zone so I will wait and see if I can get a response out of him. If not I will post his name. I havent had a terrible experience, but this is rediculus having 500$ held up for over a month and a half now. And the worst part now is that he is taking 3-4days to respond to PM's... and I look at his account and he is logging in, so I know he has read them.

Like I said give the sponser a warning, if nothing happens by all means bring thier name into it. I have read too many threads from people who dont own a buisness or no anything about and they start chiming in thier 2 cents.
There could be an easy mistake or misunderstanding. give the sponser a chance offline at first.

If I told the name of the item, I'm pretty sure it would give away who it is.

Pretty sure they don't have a hood to fit the 07.
