Today Was Press Day! *** 2003 Nyas Pics***
ok guys, I'm a little late posting the pics, but I've been pretty busy this week. So busy I missed the press release on the Z convertible. I didn't get to the Javits until 3:30pm and by that time most of the reps had left for the day. Good news is I managed to get up close and presonal with the Z convertible. Bad news was there was no Nissan representative available to demo the convertible top. All I can say is, WOW! Absolutely beautiful, down to the last detail. Surprisingly there were no other Z's, not one single coupe!
I did manage to run around and take some pics of other cars and concepts. Pretty cool stuff this year guys.
More pics to follow... here's the first picture taken!

CORRECTION ON THE SEATS!
It's BLACK CLOTH, with burnt orange leather, but not the same leather we have in the coupe. Sorry for the mix up. I'm no materials expert by any means. Peace. -m

Thanks. I still have more of some of the other cars. It's nice to run around the show without anyone stepping on you. Plus I was able to climb into the Z, not to mention a few other cars.

Is it me or do the lines of the car look better on the Silverstone droptop?
The pics of the red and DB convertibles that were floating around made the back of the car look huge... "bubble butt" as someone described it... but the SS does not seem to have that effect...

Sad the convertible lost the look of the coupe... The roofline is now gone, and the rear end looks too flat and not as distinctive.. I think i'd get a TT drop top over the Z drop top, or the Boxster..

I've still yet to see the Z with the top up. But I have to admit, it does look bettr in person (just like the coupe). Here's a better look at the window partition. I really like the styling of the roll bars into the body. Maybe they will offer a hard top version for 2006? i.e. Merc SLK
