Well I went ot the auto show yesterday. It wasn't open to the general public yet but I work for a car dealer so they let us in and let me tell you there was not too much there that really struck me. The nicest part of the car show was the fact that Ferrari was there for the first time in years, I got to sit in an Enzo after much convincing, and that thing is ridiculous just like an F1 car no carpeting, carbon fiber gallor in the interior and nice $650,000 price tag. They also had the new Lamborghini Gallardo along with the Murciolago, that Gallardo is so tiny, its a little bit larger than a Miata, but with 500hp, awd starts at $160,000 ,the guy would not let me go near that, the bad news was that car was going back to Italy last night for some final testing, it was the only one in the country. But other than that there really was not much to talk about, the 350 roadster they had up on a pedestle so you couldnt go near it which I don't understand but whatever, it does look nice though. And let me tell you the Mazda RX-8 is a piece of Sh*t. They have one on the floor to look at so I checked it out got in it the doors rattle the same as a 150.000 mile ford escort and feel very tiny, not a very solid built car at all, the seat was broken and the back seat is for 5 year olds, the dash and the interior are nice but nothing amazing, that car really doesnt do much for me. Hummer had a nice display so did Dodge believe it or not. They previewed the new Viper and the Viper truck and they had a few srt-4's there I sat in one, Its still a Neon inside but the exterior is a big improvement. Ford previewed the new Mustang which wasnt that bad. Honda had nothing new ,neither did Toyota all in all it was a fun day but I have definately been to better shows.
