Eeek! 350z at top of the list. 
I wonder if there is a design flaw somewhere in the Z or if it's accountable more to idiotic driving? I've noticed a lot of the cars in the bad wrecks threads are ripped in half, or catch fire.
I'm guessing more due to driver stupidity than design, since the G35 is listed at the complete opposite end of the spectrum, though I wonder if they mean Coupe or Sedan.
I also wonder what the division is of 350z fatalities with VDC/Non-VDC, and the likes.

Wow. Look at the G35 all the way on the low end with 11.
Maybe this says something about the maturity of drivers, seeing as how the G is more expensive? Probably impossible to tell, but that's still very impressive scores for the G.

I think the fact that Z's are more often used to drive at higher speeds and turn, is skewing the numbers. A lot of accidents we have seen have involved the car leaving the road entirely and hitting a stationary object.

I wanted to point out something about our beloved 350z being in the top 3 of this list. We have the lowest sales figures compared to most of the cars on the list. So if you take that into consideration, the 350z has the highest vehicle death rate per 1000 vehicles sold.
I feel that this website being popular with 350z enthusiasts should have a sticky thread, with this chart linked permanently, so people know exactly what they are getting into.

Chevrolet Blazer is #1. My friend had one of those and he used to wonder why his insurance was so high. Most of those are no surprise though. I would have thought the Corvette would be up there somewhere seems like every week someone dies in one from running into the back of a semi.

Great it looks like insurance is going to go up again. Moms and Dads quit buying your kids 350Z's and buy them a Chevy. It sucks when **** like this comes out b/c insurance companies are quick to throw these numbers in your face when you premium increases. If only peolple respected their cars and did not treat them like they are toys, we prob. would not see as many deadly accidents that we see. Yet another good reason for a 16 year old not to be behind the wheel of a sports car that was bought by Mom and Dad.

I'd attribute this more idiotic drivers with Zs more than the design, e.g., those two teenage morons a few weeks ago on this board chasing each other on the streets because one guy posted that the other guy's parents pay for his mods.
