It would be worth getting keyed if you could catch one of the a55holes doing it...

9mm comes out, trunk opens...get in.

I teach and have had my car vandalized twice. First time someone keyed it to the metal from the right rear quarter panel along the back bumper and on the hatch around to the left rear quarter panel. Cost me about a couple of hundred after the insurance picked up their part.

The other was much more frustrating. I had some idiot jump on top of my car, left a footprint on the hatch. Scratched the roof and manage to press it in enough to cause "reverse hail damage" in a couple of spots. I got the scratches out myself, but haven't checked on the cost to fix the dents.

I feel your pain and hope charma is really out there.

I feel your pain. When I was stationed out in Kalifornia, I had a low mileage 77 280z with a very cherry body get nailed in the front fender by a hit and run driver. What really ticked me off was this happened in Carmel Valley when I was doing some volunteer work for an Elementary School. I figured if there was a place in the US somebody would have left a note it would have been in Carmel.

It's funny how you think your in a "nice" neighborhood and your property would be somewhat safe?

you can never be too carefull.. whenever you park far away it draws more attention and people like that are more prone to vandalize it.. if you don't park too far away some ******* with a minivan and 25 kids parks next to you and they sling open their door into your car, it's just life.

Everyone has had their share of pain. I remember I got arrested when someone keyed my car. Such bastards, I could only imagine how much jealousy they have. This is exactly why even though my collision deductible is $1000, my comprehensive is $200. Last time it was $1000 on both and I got screwed.

People just suck they want what you have and if they know they cant have it they just f@*k up yours. Its just so much stress when you realize what just happened .You automatically wanna hit the closest person to you when i had my eclipse it was a candy apple red custom paint job. Someone put a nice key mark along the driver door but remind you it was in a train station parking lot. That cost $3 dollars for a days parking and when i seen it i stared at it for like 15 min in disbelief. I asked the woman who sits in the booth and collects money if she had security cameras and told her what just happened. She didnt even know english im like forget it i figured some young punks leaving school cutting through.Hey guys look a nice shiny red car lets f*@k it up. I would of punched the kid so hard in the face his dead grandmother would feel it. Well what im saying is i feel your pain sorry about your expierence.

"El dorado Hills theatre!"

Man, that's a really nice 'burb area. Would not have expected that.

This reinforces my theory of never leave the Z in a mall or theater parking lot.

I never had a problem with mine (year) until i got some nice wheels.. then in 3 months, i got keyed twice.. shame on people. now my 2 doors will never really match the rest of the car.. the daytona blue varies so much.

even on a brand new car the color varies a bit from piece to piece.
