My names Josh and Im actually in the process of buying a Z at this time. I currently drive a GTI but have lovedddd the 350 for a longg time. the GTI is up for sale and as soon as it goes,im getting my hands on a white Z.

Welcome aboard and Congrats. Are you getting an 07 or used? What trim level?

The 07 is definitely worth the price. The engine upgrades are amazing from what I've read.

You are definitely going to love the new Z

Wow, looks like some Z owners need to get their head out of their ***. You do realize there are some nice cars other than Z's right? Jesus christ learn to be a little more respective. I want to see the list of cars you owned before the nissan.

This Gti as far as I can tell looks clean and has no indication of rice whatsoever.

I alway's liked those things, expecially in the dark green, not sure if it is a stock color, but there is one running around town that looks great.

Welcome to the Z boards, you will find more info on this site then you can shake a stick at.

O and Get the 07 all the cool kids have a hump in the hood. LOL j/k

+1 On that you will learn to ignore it alot of *** remarks but for the most part some good people on this forum.

 

And please tell Nissan to lose all their profits because you don't want anyone else to buy a Z.

Anyways, welcome to the boards. My friend owns a red GTi as well. Clean cars, but I was never a fan of the higher rear end that makes the hatch look more like a SUV. But it's still a respectable car by all means.

When you get a Z-- remember ... you still have the same goal; keeping all your exterior mods clean.

Im not to worried about GothChicks oh so kind words, I enjoy all cars and the enthusiasiam in all aspects of modding.

Im lookin at a 03 white touring. No way could I afford a new one! Im 19 working full time and going to school. I figure if i can earn enough credit with this car and with the previous GTI behind me I can hopefully get me a new one here sometime in the future. Credit is important I've come to realize

Anywho, Ill keep the thread updated with the status of the new car. And I plan to be on here alot more reading and understanding as much as I can about the Z before I get one!

Good luck with getting the Z man i always loved GTI's especially The R32. A freind of mine has a modded R32 that will run circles around 90% of the Z's on this board and EVOs and STi's on other boards

 

i went from the gti to the z also.. the gti was my first car, i got it in 03.. def a fun car

 

Sounds good make sure you have extended warranty if your getting the 03.Due to some having tranny problems i had a 03 touring with no issues at all but still you wanna be safe and not have to worry. Good luck

+1, If we wanted to admire a VW, then we'd go over to the VW forum... But that might make too much sense for most n00bs.

 

There are people on this forum that dont even own a Z or did have a Z and now own something else. Yawn more bickering and crying when is it gonna end

Easy u must be slow there has been alot people posting there non Z cars.And so you must ***** and complaim to them too. Even some mods own other cars and posted them does tha **** you off too.

 

Well I guess not all car enthusists are as nice as the euro class was to me, ill just have to get used to some of these ignorant owners of the Z.

what a shame i figured nice car, nice people. O well theres always gotta be somebody.
