Does 11/06 Z don't have oil consumption? I'm going sign tommorow! need big help
Okay, I have two major questions, Price and oil consumption.
It is 11/06 350z Enth MSRP $31,200 for $25,300 is it a good deal?or should I aim to $24,500? (the price doen'st include TTL)
I didn't even know there is a oil consumption problem with 06 models by yesterday and I may pick up the car tommorow. I was going to sign up today but I wanted to make sure that late model Z 06 productions don't have problems? Is it true? or the early models don't have problems?
OR does some of 06 productions have problems, and depends on how I am lucky to pick up the right car? Can I test it before I buy the car?
I want a solid answer. Here I'm risking $30k car and I really wanna mess up. lol
Thank you!
I hope I buy the car!
VIN is JN1AZ34E86M380615

one more, This dealer has 6 of 06 models. I talked with sales person and he told me that this dealer ship is poor. Any dealership around my location don't have usually 1 or 2 06 models.... lol

MSRP 31,200
Incoive 28600 <- not sure
and $1500 rebate
$1000 dealer leftover discount
so total 26k what he is asking and he is willing to meet up at half way for $25.5k! I talked with GM directly and he was really nice guy while I was talking to him.

Great, I have a friend looking at 2 different 06 GT's at this very moment, each with 4,000K. I guess I'll advise him of this. I guess we can run a vin. through the dealership for any past problems!

I think you hear more of it because the people that have the problem are so vocal. It is more likely that the issue is not a major epidemic among all Rev-Up VQ35DE but rather one series of production.
I would be less concerned with the oil consumption, and more concerned with the pre-sale depreciation of that 2006 model. You are purchasing a couple of months before the 2008 models are to be released during a depressed economy.
