I think I might be selling the del Sol. I am stuck between the two cars I own. One day I want to throw 10k in the del sol and finish it up. the other I want to throw it into the 350z. I think the 350z is starting to win though.
I love the del sol and she is starting to come around. She was delivered form getting her makeover in December. I spent over 6k on body work and paint. (JDM ITR Front end conversion, CF Hood, CF Lip, CF Trunklid, CF Mugen wing, Neon blue paintjob, Buddy Club molded side skirts, 6-point roll bar) I wanted to turn her into a formidable show car, but not wanting to spend 30k to do it. I can get her finsihed for about 10k to a point I could be happy and take it around to shows. I know I would not prolly place as I would need tons more work to get her there.
I could sell the del sol shell and all my parts that I have accumulated and drop that into the Z, with some extra and have a pretty good car. One that I could still take to shows, one to have fun with and kill the competition with on the track, hehe.
I am thinking of doing this to the Z-
Forged Performance Level I Short-Block
Jim Wolfe Technology Twin Turbo Kit
Jim Wolfe Technology HD Clutch
Drive Shaft Shop Stage 2 Axles
ING's+1 N Spec Replica Front bumper
Seibon TT CF Rear Lip
Carbon Creations N1 CF Sideskirts
Carbon Creations CF Wing
Seibon CF OEM Style Hood
2-Tone paint Job (Black top w/ redline sides)
I already have- 19" ADR Black Rims, 2.5"APS Exhaust, Engine Grounding Kit and some stereo stuff.
I think I am pretty set on it, just trying to get some opinions. Should i stick with the car I have been slowly working on for 10 years, or cut the losses and have a kick *** car? I can not spend as much on both as I would like, so I will always be torn to which one gets the new parts.
Darrell
PS: look out in the future if your looking for a honda shell to work on to get it into shows. Once I get some pics, it might be up for sale.

i say forget the Del Sol and cut your losses. I think ultimately if you place the cars side by side which is more apealing. A fixed up Del Sol or a fixed up Z? I choose the Z. Just my opinion though. Plus you have a good idea as far as setup for your Z. No outrageous body kits. Just nice carbon fiber lips with a turbo charger, nice rims.
STICK WITH THE Z!!
STICK WITH THE Z!!

Drift projekt Z,
How was the fitment of them? Any major alignment issues?
I think I am set on what I am doing. Just got to get some pics of the del sol so i can get her on the net for sale.
Also, need to start thinking about who is going to get my car to start working on her. I will see if my friends want to have a project going, hehe.
