Default DAMN - Scratched the 350 :(!!!

I've almost had the 350z for a year now, it would be a year in June, but today, I wasn't paying as much attention as I usually do when I park in the underground garage for my apartment complex, and i scratched the side of the bumper. This totally ruined my entire month, and I have finals next week. I'm sorry, I had to vent. There weren't any chips or anything at all for almost an entire year, *sigh* everytime I look at peoples pictures, all their cars look immaculate and s***. I feel somewhat better, but I have a final tomorrow, thanks for listening to me complain

Whoa, you guys are quick, lol. I did the samething to my parents Lexus Rx330....I didn't feel nearly as bad as I do now compared to when I did that to their car, lol.

mine came with a ping, scratch, and fish marks from the dealer, and one week out of the dealership it went back for cosmetic surgery, don't sweat the small stuff ....remember it is only a car and even a porsche can get into accidents and need to get fixed.

there are scratches all over my front bumper and very mildly around my entire car. i don't mind, can't keep it perfect especially if it's a DD. maybe those who keep their z's in their garage, and drives it 1000 miles a year can keep it perfect. but other than that who cares i have fun with my z.

Yeah, I saw that, that was crazy. For $400, I would get a replica nismo v2 front bumper and ride around with it unpainted, lol. Joke.

you could probably get one painted for that -- if you have a hook-up.

Sorry to hear that. But, better to have fun driving it chancing a scratch or ding than to have it sit in a garage somewhere pristine and unused, right?

Minor scratches and rock chips give the car character much as lines on your face. Don't sweat the small stuff, such is life.

I do not even want to risk wet sanding, I might mess it up more. I drove on the highway the other day and forgot to put on my nose mask, so the front is totally bug filled. I will try to take pictures once it is clean. I bought touch up paint from one of the stores here before and I will give that a try, but wetsanding is out of my league.
