Thanks. I took a little bit of time writing it & wondering if anyone would read it or value it. Then I finally thought that if it would maybe make one person think a little about what they really wanted out of life then it would be worth it.

By the way, my friend that I buried at the age of 47 loved surfing but never really traveled. Financially he was strapped so he would often ask me to describe all the places he dreamed of going but could not afford. I felt sorry for him when he died that he never got to see so many places he desired to see. Looking back on his life, the type of car he owned was not that significant.

I just got a compliment today, I stopped to let some cute chick cross the street in this residential area and after walking by the front of the car she said out loud "Wow nice car". I was on my way to my GFs place

yeah I have to admit, I only got my Z a month ago and I get stares and compliments all the time (just put time attacks on as well) I used to own a 99 civic si. I'm glad I have moved up in the car world and no longer have to deal with revs and downshifting near me.. people respect the z.

Sometimes I feel that if dogs could talk that would give Z compliments!!!

Well, I do believe your Avatar is complimentary enough.

Nissan actually uses a variable timing control (VTC) in some of their motors (i.e. late model SR20, RB25, RB26) it just doesnt function hydraulically like Honda motors do. You'll notice an added sensor on these cars that work electronically. Not as much of a noticable difference as in Honda motors but they are effective.

back to regularly scheduled programming...

We have some "nice" people on this forum. You need some anger management. Attacking a PO for no reason ---> you are an ******* .

I've gotten tons of compliments here in SoCal. Really surprising because Vettes, Porsches and other exotic cars are common place here.

4+ years later and I still get compliments. Yesterday, at Starbucks two women sitting outside as I parked issued a "wow" or two. Then this good looking gal (nice legs and rack plus face) who was half my age, at best, actually flirted with me; smiling and asking about the Brick. Or, at least my 64 year old ego perceived she was flirting! LOL!
