Sign me up on that pathetic list then, because if a girl wants to buy a Z, I want to see pix of her! Thats just cool!

She would probably like the touring model Z more as already mentioned. Its just got all the little extras that women love.

'06-'07 Touring model with side airbags.

She'll like the power/leather/heated seats.

Well, if one is looking for performance, Track is way to go. If one is looking for comfert with performance, Gran Touring. If one just wants luxury, Touring. If one wants to spend tens of thousands of dollars in parts, enthusiast. If one cant afford any but base or enthusiast, best go with RX8, it is cheaper to maintain.

Actually, if she does not want to pay the additional premium's that come with touring, she can get the Enthusiast, and most dealers have leather add on options that they will install. Good thing about that is not only would you pay less than upgrading to a new model version, but you can choose through their huge list of colors and can even do 2 color combinations.

Does Mom want an automatic or manual transmission? VDC only comes with manual except for the Grand Touring.

On another note, why does someone "older" buying a sports car bring out accusations of a "mid-life crisis"?

Because it's how we old folks justify it to ourselves.

Cheaper than a divorce and way more fun!
