I have been reading everyones threads for a few months now waiting on the day to by my own Z. Well yesterday I made the purchase!! Here's what I got:

The only problem was it was in California and I live in freezing Wisconsin! Shipping costs $875, which is from the dealer. I had better quotes at other online shippers, but this way it could be added to my loan. I was seriously thinking about flying out and chilling by the beach in Cali before I drove it home, but then I realized I prob. wouldnt be able to get off work with such short notice.

Let me know what everyone thinks. Im pulling my hair out on this one because I have never bought a car with out a test drive and personal inspection first. The dealer said that the car still had a huge amount of miles left for the warrantys. But that wasnt good enough for me. I told him that I would not buy the car without a warranty from him personally. He then agreed to give me a 28 day money back guarantee. I told him send it to me in writing and you pay for shipping on the way back if that happens. But all in all the only thing that bothers me a little bit is if you check out the left lower bumber on the car it appears to be a large scuff mark. Not a huge deal to me, I have some close friends that do body work all day. Or I'll just throw on a kit to take care of it.

But hope you all like the Z! Im dying to get it!! Let me know when anyone has a meet near Wisconsin....

 

hmmm...looks like that scuff may have been done during that photo shoot! in picture 8 & 9 it looks like the passenger side bumper is all over the curb... judging from those pics, you may have some curb rash on the front passenger wheel, too...caused by them! i would have the dealership fix that before the send you the car...

there's only one cup holder... and that is an aftermarket shift ****, too... tell them you want the OEM one, as well...

 

its a nismo shift ****. But ya I already asked him for the original. Prob. keep the aftermarket one tho

 

Im in an 06, my cupholders... or as I should say, what are meant to be cupholders, are in each door, down by the speaker.

That scrape looks like another 800 off the price! Other then that sweet deal, I just paid like 21k for a 04 Enthu with 43000 miles.

 

I'm not much on redlines. I like everything else about it though.

 

one more thing make sure they give you an antenna cuz i ddnt see one but hey i mite be blind

 

If you're blind so am I. All I can see is a stub, antenna base.

As the other guys said, definitely looks damage happened during photo shoot. Ask for a discount for the aerial and curb rash.

Have you done all the necessary checks to make sure it has a clean title, and not been in an accident?

 

If that curb rash wasn't put there by them while taking the picture, then I suspect they intentionally parked the car like that to hide it from the camera!!!

There is definitely no antenna on that car...

 

There are two cup holders behind the shifter under a sliding cover. There is one on each door and one on the dash where a glovebox would be.

 

For that much, I would spend 1/2 of that 875.00 and fly to CA and pick it up. I live in Atlanta, flew up to NH to look at mine, bought it and drove back.

It was a fun trip..
