I heard from a friend that it's common when you drive a nice car like 350Z....

Has anyone ever experienced this?

My story isn't quite as bad as others I've heard, but someone recently attempted to remove my rear Nissan logo. While s/he didn't succeed, I now have lots of scratches on the hatch and lower rear panel. Won't be fixed until mid May either.

My car was keyed the first week i had it. It seems much more common than it used to be for this to happen. I've seen ALOT of posts from people whos Z's have been victimized. It's the economy IMO. There's aot of out of work/underemployed people out there that can get a bit jealous of those that still have well paying jobs, nice cars etc. It's sad that people deal with their jealousy this way, but whatcha gonna do. Just get a low deductable on your insurance and try not to worry about it too much. There's not much you can do to prevent it.

My Z-28 was broken into a few weeks ago while at work, that led me to get pissed off and buy the 350z instead of repairing the camaro! Hopefully the 350z will be much more lucky and not get attacked anytime soon, but I did lower my deductable just in case.

Ummm, my guess is that "foreign cars" are the target of anger more often than "good ole american" cars.

I know it's stupid, but it seems to be true.

Driver door got egged on easter (how ironic). Left a circle of scratches/chips under the handle where the paint seems to have shattered.

I'm glad I didn't catch them doing it. Assult and battery is a lot more expensive to clear.
