Is it OK?
Late this month, my 07' 350z coupe will be arriving in Cleveland OH for me to pick up.
my question is, will it hurt the car for me to take a 700 mile trip (350 miles each way) down to northern VA and back within the first week to two weeks of owning it.. no aggressive driving will be done (i plan on 60-65 on the PA turnpike the whole way)
will it hurt the engine just taking the trip or would it only hurt it if you drive aggressively?

Actually, you don't want constant speeds over long periods of time. Plan on making a few stops

performance and ensure the future reliability

follow these recommendations may result in
shortened engine life and reduced engine performance.
Avoid driving for long periods at constant
speed, either fast or slow. Do not run the
engine over 4,000 rpm.
Do not accelerate at full throttle in any gear.
Avoid quick starts.
Avoid hard braking as much as possible.
Do not tow a trailer for the first 500 miles
(800 km).

Ya, so you should just bring it up to top speed and then let it slow to 55 and then repeat throughout the trip. That way, you'll be averaging around 100 and make it there in record time. Plus you won't have constant speed over a long period of time.

I babied mine for about 500 miles maybe, i definetly used cruise control, redlined it once or twice, got 800 miles on it now. I dont get on it everyday but im no afriad to though. I feel 800 is plenty. Ill track it after 1200 to feel safe but idk goin easy on the pedal in an auto, it will rev up to 5k so...... yea,
