My touring model finally arrived today! It is totally awsome! I'm scared to drive it, haha i know. Here are some pics. I'll be installing a AEM intake and Stillin Exhaust in then next 2 weeks, Stillin is doing all the install for free. This car will be featured in an upcomming issue of Super Street. Easy for me since i work there.

I love it!!

3 things:

1. congratulations!

2. am I the only one who the first thing I noticed was, "yikes, so close to curbing that wheel!" ? hah, I bet I won't be the only one, be careful!

3. I am no Z expert, but that's an old 260 or 280z in the background isn't it, blue nonetheless! I bet it's jealous!

Car looks good! Why did you choose to go with the auto? What do you do for Super Street?

I know way too close to the curb! Anyways, I went with the auto b/c I've always driven manuals and am ready for a change. To be honest with you, the auto w/manual mode is just as fun as im concerned. This car has so much power it doesnt matter! No i'm not old, i'm 27. Too much traffic in LA for a manual any longer. I am an account exec at Primedia (Super Street, EuroTurner mags) Ad sales in other words. Also, this bose system really sucks! I can't believe it. The CD player is ok, but the radio sound quality is horrible. I have 2 infiniti kappas going in the front today, and will replace all speakers later. Hope that will help some.

Congradultions!! Dont feel bad.. I ordered mine on Feb 20, 2002. Needless to say.. sight unseen.. Saw the Jananesse version at the April 20th, 2002, car show.. I did see about two of them getting off the truck in mid August 2002, THEN mine came in August 29th.. What a day.. What a great car.. 6500 miles on it in about 9 months.. AND no problems..what-so-ever.. BUT for some wearing of the seat.. (not leather)..
See you around

And I agree with your choice for the automatic I've had my five months now and think it's excellent and would do it again

The vehicles that a dealer has on the lot, do they all have drilled holes in the front bumper for a license plate or is that something you have to request?

You need to tell the dealer not to drill any holes.

Congrats! But no pity for 11 weeks. I waited 6 months and I wasn't even a pre order! BTW, good color choice! Here's my baby.

Is the Fairlady emblem an option or something? I've only seen it on a few Z's.

I ordered mine from Japan, and you could order them from courtesyparts.com for a while, but they don't have them right now. So, it's not an option (in the US--it's standard in Japan), but it can be done. I only did it because I thought it would be neat to have it since I'm a girl.
