I was also disappointed with the film itself, although I did enjoy all the additional material about the making of, and the unedited takes, especially the ones with showing the driver's feet and the shifter. But I wish they had included the take from the camera they mounted above the tail of the car. That rig looked incredible. The driver said the car handled well even with 300 pounds hanging five feet off the back of it.
But my problem with the finished film is that, as DriveI65 said, the driver seems to be coasting a lot of the time. Okay, I'm not a professional driver, and he had to deal with the cobblestones and the trolley tracks, which obviously affect grip. But listening to the soundtrack, the run doesn't sound all that impressive. A lot of the time, it just doesn't sound as if he's going as fast as he could.
Although Prague is a beautiful city, I think I would have found a few laps around Road America, Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen and a few other nice road courses to be a lot more interesting and impressive. He could have really opened it up, with great engine growling and brake squealing.
Dwnshft: have you got any good in-car video for us?

Gray matter:.. Go through the Run throughly.. and there is commentary about what security was used and carefully placed actors and stunt people spread all over.. really very interesting..

I ordered some parts from this guys and they sent me a *free*!!! copy of "The Run". I loved the thing. The sound is pretty good, I sat in front of my TV and with the sorround system It was just like beeing inside my own car. Great, thanks courtesy.

the run
I actually took over my pre-order from another guy, so I didn't think I would get a "Run" DVD, and I bought it myself for $10 on the web. Sure enough, a month later Nissan sent me a copy. Oh well.
Love the DVD- wish I could take my Z to Prague....
