Default Im out...

Past 2 years were a blast with the Z and it was probably one of the nicest cars I owned.. but i woke up this morning and decided that i needed a change.. more room, a daily driver that will shift for me and a quiet comfortable ride after a hard day's work.. not to mention getting arrested last week for racing, wreckless driving and switching lanes in SOUTH FLORIDA so while i'm waiting for them to throw the book at me and bury me under the jail, i went ahead and traded for a 2004 g35 sedan (hey atleast i still got a VQ) I was really impressed with the ride, interior and ammenities...the exterior is not my favorite but it works. The car got 43 k miles and i am definately happy with my choice. I was considering getting a gs300 lex also, but this was more affordable. Thanks to all for the wealth of knowlege and reviews that made my z experience wayy more enjoyable.

Oh well, gotta do what you gotta do.

Enjoy the G35 and pimp it a little bit with tint and rims. And slow down!

They can't say you were doing 110 or so unless they got you on camera or radar. Good lawyer should take care of it.

Kinda sucks, but I agree with JDM, a good lawyer might really be necessary for you.

Wat exactly were you charged with?
Wat are the vehicle codes u violated?
This info should be on the ticket. Tell us wat's on there.
And also tell us what you told the cops.

got 3 tix i guess it was a criminal misdemenor (went to jail)

1) racing on a highway -section 316.191 (1)
2) reckless driving -section 316.089 (1)
3) failure to maintain single lane 316.089 (1)

all had aggressive driving box checked and the first 2 had criminal violation checked.

right now i'm waiting for my court date and speaking to a few lawyers.. trying to get reviews on lawyers

told the cops nothing, just answered the questions.. did not admit to racing

I thought you either:
a) just got out of jail, or
b) singing a P. Diddy & Ma$e remake

Question

What do you intend to do with a G35 and no drivers license?

So, you think switching from Z to G will cure your driving habit?

I am trying to figure out how getting the G35 will help on the speeding/ticket issue. I realize when it comes to comfort it will help, but you cited that whole ticket issue was another main cause for you wanting to trade awya the Z. I am sure driving the G35 will give you the gas pedal bug again.

That reckless driving is going to be a painful one. I got one a few years back with oh ya, my RSX!! lol...

I got in more trouble with that damn car than in any other car I have ever owned. My reckless driving ticket was pretty much BS but I took it for what it was worth and got through it. Make sure you get a good attorney and hope that the cops arent trying to make an example out of you.

As almost an attorney, I suggest that you get one immediately. Good lawyers can do amazing things.

Also, the G-Sedan is less fast looking, so reckless driving doesn't appear as reckless. Plus it isn't a "sports car" so less incentive to speed.
