Lightbulb What makes a 35Th Anniversary Model?

Sorry guys complete noob question. Yes I have already searched around for this but still am confused. I just bought a 2005 Z Touring. Are all the 2005 Z's the 35th Anniversary models for that year? I mean my floor mats say 35th on them, but I am sure they where just bought somewhere online. Please let me know. Thanks...hopefully no one will flame me for this.

Rev-up engine. Front and rear spoilers, underbody diffusers (same as Track model). Brembo brakes, 35th anniv. wheels. Special 35th anniv "Z" emblems. Bose system.

It does not need to have the rev up if it's an automatic. It will not have the higher rev limit line. So you cannot go by that.

I have a 35th, every single option including nav and side/curtain airbags with auto. I saw one once that was an auto without the nav and side/curtain airbags. They were bundled together.

18 inch wheels (same as the base 06/07), Gloss Black side emblem, Brembos, 35th mats, orange stitching in the leather, front underbody diffuser. It can be either ultra yellow, black, or silver. There were about 250 of each made. There is nothing in the VIN to distinguish it.

So it would be possible to "create" one if a person tried to. Of course I have the window sitcker that prooves it by saying 35th.

Search under my name. I know I've answered this before.
You can also look on the nissannews.com website under 2005.

My 35th is a SB. It has the factory two tone seats, tan and black. Also check for the gold ring around the side emblem.

The two-tone seats are an option, not all 35th cars will have them.

Did the auto 35th come with the Brembo's or special edition rims which became stock on the 2006's and 2007's?

Yes it did.

Edit - Only difference between 6MT and Auto was the engine. 6MT - Rev-up
Auto - 287 hp motor

Mine didn't have the floor mats either. I believe that the very earliest ones didn't.

1) Is yours auto or stick? That'll make a difference on your engine redline (as per previous posts).

2) Are your rims 6 spokers or 5 spokers?

3) Do you have Brembos?

4) Do you have front/rear spoilers?

His sig says Redline. That about decides that it's not a 35th unless it's had a major re-paint.

I'm surprised that if they only made 250 of them, that they would offer the heaviest possible version and in auto. Ouch.
