Are these vertical pull handles going to be a bit awkward to use? For those that have seen the car, is there a release inside of the housing that we pull to open the door, or does the part of the handle that we can see actually pull outward?

My old 89 Pontiac Grand Prix had vertically mounted door handles, and while I don't recall ever thinking it was awkward to open the doors, I'm looking at the Z handles and wondering. The Pontiac handles were mounted higher, on the frame between the windows, and you pulled the complete outer handle (not an inside release).

 

from what i remember at the NY auto show, the whole handle pulls outward.
