Just got back from Nissan HQ - NJ
Hey guys-
Thanks to Ethan, I just got a peek at a PPW Z.
Tim (tbcz) and I went to Somerset NJ HQ and as we were still outside of the parking lot I see it!! It was parked right outside in front of the doors - amazing. The PPW is so nice in the sunlight - it literally sparkles...I only got a couple pictures on my camera, but Tim got about 10 - and I'm sure he'll be posting them as soon as he gets home. Anyone in Jersey/NY who wants to see it, you should definitely head out there - it's not even like they were trying to hide it!!

Zgirl I am really glad that you and your other Z friends were able to see the PPW Z...haven't heard much from you lately, did you get an order number for your blue track Z? When do you expect it to show up? I am still hoping to see my car in august, but it may end up being september with the majority of us preorders..whatever and whenever I just want to see my car or any 350Z for that matter.Still not waiting patiently.

Pikes Peak White = Aspen White Pearlglow???
When I first saw the pics of Pikes Peak White I thought it looked very similar to the Aspen White Pearlglow paint Nissan has been offering on other models the last few years. Now that it's confirmed to be a pearl paint, I wonder if it is the same paint code. If it is then it's a great color. Anybody know the paint code?

If you're not too far from there, you should definitely take a trip there and scope it out. The car was locked, so there was no sitting in it or driving it or anything - just looking at it. I'm hoping that I'll be able to sit in the car before I sit in my own.
Well, good luck! Maybe there will be some people at HQ when you go there, and you might be lucky and be able to sit in it...HQ was deserted when we were there...

We talked about the z on the sjdsm message board a couple of months back. Haven't seen you at any recent meetings. I am still waiting on mine just like everyone else. But you are going to have to give me directions, to somerset, so i check out the z. I still have yet to see it. I am sure everyone knows it wasn't at the philly auto show.
Are you still keep your eclipse?

Yea, I remember talking to you...I'm still keeping my Eclipse for when I drive to school...If you PM me, I can give you directions to the Nissan HQ in Somerset. I wasn't the driver, so I'll have to look up the directions for you.

Jill how long of a ride was it. How long do you think it would take from deptford? If you are goin to give me directions still away from yahoo maps and mapquest. All their directions are way to long. How long is the car going to be their. Do you think it will still be there over the weekend?
I am going to try to keep my eclipse. I has about a trillion miles on it. I want to keep it for my beater car, until it starts giving me to many problems.

It's way, way back in the boonies. You'd drive right by the place if you didn't know what you were looking for. By the way, so everyone knows, security is pretty tight; police roll through there regularly even on the Sunday afternoon when I went. Plus the security guard came out and chatted with me when I was looking at it. PPW is so pearly and creamy; it's really beautiful. I still want to know what became of this silver 350Z my friend saw driving around Somerset...
