I still pop on every once in a while. I still love the Z but until they do a major redesign, I prefer the Vette these days. I just picked up an '07 coupe that will be heading to Lingenfelter in July for some serious engine massaging.

Uhh yeah... I think you just put us all to shame by posting that. Looks very nice and I love the wheels.

What didn't you like about the convertible?

The convertible was fine, but after driving a coupe, I liked the more solid feel and better steering feedback.

I almost went with a Z06, but the lack of a removable top and the brutal suspension made the car unacceptable for anything but the track...for me anyway. Lingenfelter will give me equal or greater performance for less money and I can still have a comfortable car that can double as a cruiser as well as a track beast.

I also like the two-tone red/black interior, so I ordered the car and had it within eight weeks. Here's the interior prior to Alpine stereo system.
The second photo shows the custom two-tone leather console cover I had made. There are some great vendors who do amazing custom stuff for Vettes.

Yikes I was never a fan of Vette interiors but that red/black combo makes it look really nice!

Not that I would want C6 owners to come off as posers of the Z06, but are Z06 rims and the Z06 hood readily available as mods for C6 owners? At the very least, the Z06 rims, since they are really nice looking. I don't know about fitment issues with the hood but I assume many people get similar looking aftermarket hoods for their C6's.

EDIT: Btw this is a thread hijack of which I think we all can approve.

The C6 interior really is pretty damn nice. It's not up to Audi standards, but the surfaces feel good, the switches have a quality feel, the seats are supportive and very comfortable, and neither one of my C6's have had a rattle or a squeak. For the money, you just can beat this car. My sticker was just at $49,000 and I ended up getting it for $500 below invoice, and that was a special order...not off the lot. For less than $43K, it's a steal.

The wheels/tires are aftermarket. Crays Scorpions w/Nitto INVO's. Awesome tires. I wish I'd had these tires on my 350Z. I'm going to drop it about 1/2 inch and add the new Koni FSD shocks next.

Lots of C6 owners are doing the complete Z06 widebody kit. I may need to do this to get bigger tires on the rear once Lingenfelter does their thing.

You're right.....didn't mean to hijack. I love Z's and Vettes, and I'll probably own a Z again one day.

Very nice. I suppose they have to be sure to make it fast as a Z06 after that.

Bentley is an old man's car. No 8 year old would think it's "cool," considering they have no concept of cost factor.

Now if it was the Continental GT, that has hints of sports car styling to it, so maybe that's why younger rich people drive it. I assume this was an Azure or Arnage?
