And back to the subject..... I will use mine for a monitor, or a center channel speaker if I go with a "home theater" setup.

I plan to put an LCD screen for a dvd player or a playstation 2. Fry's Electronics had a Clarion single din dvd player for $199. I should check it out and see if they still have them.

Default Empty Nav Space

My wife has an Infinit I30t, and we opted not to get the optional navigation system when we bought it. Its nav is a flip up model on the top center of the dashboard, and like the Z, without nav, the space is pretty useless. Thing is, you dont really ever even notice it anymore. Just keep the door closed, and you will forget about it after a while (unless you plan some sort of mod like a DVD screen or extra radio equipt or whatever). In all, though, after a week or so you will not really be thinking about it much - too much fun driving your Z instead!!

I plan to fill the space with duct tape and wire. You never know when you'll need it, but you can work miracleswith duct tape and wire.

Default I make good use of mine!

My nav compartment is the perfect size for those things I don't like to have in my pockets while I'm driving but might need to have quick access to: Wallet, cellphone, beeper, security badge:

Well I have to use 1million octane, and some old dirty a$$ beer cans, banana skins, miscellaneous trash, and plutonium for Lebanon, but all for all it is a great mod.

I installed my own aftermarket navigation system at a considerable cost savings to the Nissan unit:

hey, anyone thought of grabbing the computer from an R34, you know, the g-meter, downloadable data storage and port, fuel/engine/percent throttle & brake meters... etc?? It may be pricey, but cool - ohhh yes!

C'mon you can afford a Z and not a new wallet? hehe
It reminds me of Goerge Costanza's wallet LOL

Hahaha!!!! That wallet is made of Elk hide, it came from Yellowstone Park with a lifetime guarantee that it will never wear out. I don't know how long I have carried that thing, at least 10 years, probably more like 15. It sounds like you would argue that I should redeem the warranty; it's not pretty I guess, but it has looked much the same for most of the time I've owned it and it's still holding up pretty well!
