You've guessed wrong. I prefer the look of the coupe as well. But calling a stock convertible Z a "modified Z" is retarded. So what if somebody pays extra for it. So by that logic, automatics are modded as well? I didn't say how long it was since I saw the last dumb post before yours. I just said it was the dumbest in a week. If you are going to insult everybody that owns a convertible then you should probably aquire a thicker flame suit.

and yes now that i put more thought into it and after reading your logic..i was wrong in calling the convertable a mod, but i wont take it back, there ****in ugly! one of my best buddys have one and im constantly givin him **** for it. i cant help it, i think its such a horrible thing to do to a z. kinda reminds me of convertable porsches..agh

well according to this thread you really cant mod a z period without the masses hating you.....it all depends on whether it's tasteful or not. if you threw decals and things on it just for the sake of doing it then yes it looks bad but if there's a tastefully placed and sized nismo sticker or other sticker it can look very good. fart cans are dumb on civics but personally sound wise i think lots of the N1 exhausts are the best sounding exhausts on the z....and i dont like most of import sounds, i came from a domestic v8 before the z and i hate raspy ricy sound, but fart can z's sound like race cars

I dont think anyone has said anything but I hate Molded lines in everyway. Like someone bought a fiberglass body kit and molded the lines in the body then get cracks all over it 2 weeks later Oh and that reminds me..How about fiberglass kits in general. I say dont be a cheap *** and buy a urathane kit..my 2 cents

 

Well said. On the Z, an unpainted cf hood, or canards or front lip looks good. Or take a look at the unpainted parts on MC's beutiful ride. But unpainted doors, fenders, or hatch looks like ****. But take a look at the Ferrari F40. Full carbon fiber body....all painted. Work of art IMO. So it goes both ways. But any unpainted cf parts on a ricer looks like crap.

 

I'm guilty of a few, single exhaust, Fairlady badge, nismo sticker.

lol funny you should mention... i put those on either side of my hatch about 3 weeks ago.... im taking them off tonight... been wanting to ever since i cam out the next morning after i put them on.... anything like that takes away from the car... its true....
