I personally think that stickers, i mean decals, shouldn't be installed. I mean why would you want everyone to know what is in the car? More of a reason for someone to take what isn't theres... just my opinion.

This is going to sound weird but I just hate aftermarket stereo units. They all look cheezy and take away from the lines of a dashboard on any car.

That was the BEST newscast I have ever seen.

I'm going to be installing some curb feelers on my Z next week. Anyone recommend a brand?

Chaser... LOL. Yes. If the whole idea of mods is to PERSONALIZE one's Z then a GENERIC list of what not to do becomes useless. I like to think of mods as performance mods or aesthetic mods. This reminds me of a saying about all the stuff we accumulate, basically something along the lines of "if something is not useful or if it does not bring you enjoyment (eg. art) get rid of it."

Edit... I suppose that makes my Stillen Stage 3 1/2 SC an aesthetic mod (I like the whine)

Of course there are some exception to some of them, but most people do it for looks. But again i did remove the 350z emblem
Whats wrong with single exhaust, light weight, great performance etc etc. Its a proper perofrmance mod.

White walls might not do justice to a Z very much!

I have seen mention of headers cracking, if you cut out a section of your test pipes and weld in a braided stainless exhaust insert, the stress on the headers is reduced dramatically and the resonance also decreases a lot.

This whole thread has cracked me up...people so worried OMG that makes it ricey...in case you didn't know everyone who drives an american muscle car pretty much considers us ricers as the term pertains to those who drive imports.

As for mods not to do...hmm...can't think of any because the point of modding is to be original so do whatever makes you happy...but for those who want to worry about what all others think go ahead and do nothing, because that helps those who do what they want stay original.
