Yeah I agree... different people have different tastes.

Look at the guy's face looking at the louvers. That's the way everyone's gonna look at you if you have them.

I went to a car show at Louden NH last summer and this guy was so proud of his Ugly hand painted black stock rims. I was nice and told him they looked great but man I was lying big time. He told me a few people ragged on them but he was happy I guess that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I know he is on this site so sorry dude but they are fkn WAY horrible.

Bumble Z<<< Just my opinion, and you are happy with what you have. I like the car, minus the yellow stripes on the wheels. I think the wheels look nice with the stripe by themselves. But when they are on your car, ehh. I want to say that I think it would look very nice with solid black but then that would look a bit odd too. Its kinda hard to imagine. Maybe a different wheel setup. ??? but I deff like the Z. The eye lids look good on this one too.

I'm still tring to figure out why the billet grill is a "no no" (in some people's minds), but that stupid ugly stock plastic piece of crap that the factory stuck on the car is ok......If you like something put it on your car because you are the only one that you have to please......screw the snobs, when they pay for my parts and pay my bills then they can tell me what to put on my car.

because the rest of the car is plastic and does not catch the eye with flash shiny parts, rather just sensual curves, exhaust note, stance etc. When adding the billet grille you've just put some 'bling' on your car, or given it a 'grill'. Its like having your wife/GF who has a natural beauty to her and then go out to dinner with her and shes wearing this gaudy ring the size of an NFL Super bowl ring. Seriously, WTF. I agree that it is your own car and do as you please, but sometime its good to listen to others for compliments or suggestions, but not necessarily always follow them.

My Z is not plastic. It's made from steel. My corvette was plastic. Plastic sucks. I found nothing fantastic about plastic. (the corvette worshippers catch phrase) It was a great car, but I hated the fiberglass or plastic. The plastic non functional (allowing stones, road debris to puncture your radiator) grille Nissan placed on our cars sucks. The billet or metal grille actually has some function.

Suggesting what I put on my car should be taken off because you don't like it is not a compliment......Me thinks I found your problem. You are from Cleveland and don't know how beautiful a Superbowl ring looks.
I suggest you take a second look at the billet grille and a Superbowl ring.

The billet grill looks like ***. That is just an opinion, albeit a popular one here on the forum. However, like the guy above me said, it's your car and you can do whatever you like to it.

Targa tops: Nothing like spending thousands of dollars to look like a Honda Del Sol.

I think targa tops are hot.

Too expensive, but hot.

I would def go for a targa top if it was reasonably priced and didn't screw the chassis stiffness all to hell.....

Well, there are some mighty fine asses out there in the world and some ugly ones too.....Are you talkin a Jennifer Lopez *** or a Gabourey Sidibe ***?

Yep, opinions are like asses everybody has one. I've seen a lot of pictures of gawdy, ugly overdone Zs on this site, but if the owner of the car likes thier ride than that's ALL that matters.....that said, I think I'll go out and polish up my grille.

I had read up on it in the past, and apparently there are minimal differences in structure between the coupe and roadster to begin with, so it wouldn't be an issue. Someone actually did the research.

I think the thread is on here somewhere.
