I use the digital all the time
Also noted that the readout was right on when I went thru one of those stand alone radar units they put up on the side of the road.
I got two digital speedo on my Z: one stock and one on my Pioneer AVIC N-2..also has accelaration and lateral G meter
i could use the speed calibration screen on my Eclipse AVN5510, but the speeds i would be going to be worring about speed i shouldn't be looking down at my radio.. it should be on the road

haha word..its just there to be supplimental. i look at analog 98% of time
Digital - it is more accurate in my car. According to GPS it is dead on, while my analog seems to read a couple mph higher at speed (for example, my digital can read 80mph while my analog reads like 82mph or so...) - kinda weird that they arent 100% in sync, but oh well...
