Great photos! Thanks for sharing.
I can't believe how many Skylines, all in one thread!!!!
BTW-Do you have any idea where I can find those lug nuts you have a pic of? They're aluminum, right? I'm actually looking to put them on an E30 M3. Thanks!

remember that japanese cars and european cars have totally different lug layouts.
ours have the threads sticking out from the hub where you screw the lugs onto.
german cars have holes in the hub where you screw lugs into

First off, I went to Rays Engineering in Nara,Osaka.
My father in laws cousin is head of operations @ the Rays factory. He let us in to the factory and let me tell you, one of the places where you go in and simply say wow!!! He said that pictures were strictly restricted and I totally respected that. I saw all the wheels that we have that was still in their base form. He showed me from the first step all the way to where the wheels would be finished. Just astonishing.... He also showed me one of the first production type formula 1 wheel which I lifted up and wow, maybe 3-4 pounds each!!!
Here is the a picture from the outside... Managed to sneak a few pics from the outside though
This is their 2nd factory where they produce OEM Rays wheels for Nissans, and mazdaspeed cars.
And a little gift he gave me before I left....
(Volk Center Caps, Blue Extended Lugs, and a Employee Hat!!)
Then I was at ZELE in Yokohama when I visited my sister. They are specialists at servicing the Z and the GTR. They do installs, maintenance and sales. I saw this place in the Z magazine and since i was gonna visit my sister, I thought that I would drop by. I have never seen so many GTRs all at once.
Some Parts
I told the guy that I was visiting from the US and guess what, he took me into his storage room on the 2nd floor!!!! More GTR's
and I am probably the only one to see this in front of my eyes
Nismo Fairlady Z S-Tune GT (They just sold it for $60K)
A dealer who specializes in old school cars
AE86
S30 Fairlady Z
2nd Generation Skyline
Went to a couple Autobacs
FD3S
S15 Silvia
A car Autobacs specially built. The Garaiya
R33 GTR for Sales (1,980,000 yen = $17,000 USD) Pretty Cheap huh?
We would never get a car like this for the price in Japan!!
I also visited a Tuning Store specifically for the Fairlady and look what i saw...
Amuse R1 Titanium
and Finally my car......
