Default Nissan tryed to **** me over!

Peices of **** Nissan... I was waiting in the waiting room today & the dude came in, "It's definatly your battery, it's going to be 75 for the battery & 22 for the installation fee" , I was like alright, go ahead & do it.

Waited......

Desk clerk-"Alright your car is ready, that'll be 149.99"

Me-"Uhhh... hell no it isnt, that is NOT what the guy told me"

Desk clerk-"Hmm well lets see, they charged you 90 dollars for the battery & the mechanic said to charge you 75 for installation"

Me-"What the hell, I'm NOT paying that, 75 for installation?! "

Desk clerk-"Ok let me fix this, alright it will be 110"

Still to damn much for just a battery, I know I was told I'de be screwed but I didnt want to mess up putting a battery in myself, & I really thought something else was wrong w/ the car I couldnt fix...

Nissan trying to play me for an idiot, 75 dollars installation fee? **** that ****.

My car is fine now though.. lol so I'm happy about that, but damn.. made me mad

waiting in the waiting room....

I think those $90 were for inspecting your car to see what was wrong with it.

first off it wasn't Nissan that was trying to stick it to you. It was the dealer.

Do you honestly think I was refering to the Nissan company as a whole, as if I think all of Nissan is trying to screw with me? When I said Nissan, I was refering to there shop in my town, I'll spell it out for you next time you decide to critique every word I type

stealership refers to the shop in your town. I was expecting a problem with your car since you called out nissan. Not surprised at all the only dealership I would ever trust is WCN.

Why not just buy your own battery and install it yourself? There couldn't be an easier install to do.
Because I didnt want to mess anything up, I saw all of those fuses by the battery & just knew I'de **** something up if I tryed changing it myself. & I didnt know if it was just the battery or not.

They didnt inspect my car, they clearly said "90 dollars is for the battery" "75 for installing the battery"

Hmm, I've never looked to see where the battery is placed in my 350zr... If its like the G35 then it sucks @ss to change, the battery sits 1/2 way under the windshield... Some Engineer must of been drunk when he designed the placement of the battery...

I've met people who could **** up changing car batteries, fish bowl water, insurance companies, TV remote batteries. If they didn't mess it up they hurt themselves. Don't feel bad taking it to the dealer if your not inclined to do the work yourself.
