Also another strategy that some of my corvette friend use is keeping that second license plate in the car with you, so if you do get pulled over you can tell the cop that you're on your way to have it installed.

I suggest you check with the state to see exactly what the law is. There are some laws where the cops cannot specifically pull you over for that offense.
For example, I think it was Missouri, if a cop saw you driving without a seatbelt he could not stop and ticket you for that specifically unless you were commiting another offense such as speeding. After he stopped you for that, then he could ticket you for not wearing a seatbelt. They have since changed that.
Personally, I'm not a gambler, and I don't see the point of giving a cop any reason for stopping me.

In my opinion, very few cars/suvs look good with the front license plate on. I like the clean streamlined look without the front plate, so the first thing I usually do when I buy a car is take it off.
Lucky for me, the original owner of my Z Roadster had the same idea and requested that dealer not put it on, so no holes in the bumper.

Texas requires a front license plate but I've never had mine installed, although the dealer installed the license plate bracket. I patched up the holes and it does not look bad at all.

Hello no, i'm not drilling holes on my bumper.
Should i be ticketed for it i'll just rig on to my grille and show it to a cop to have the ticket fixed, then removie it afer i get home
