instead of assuming something's wrong with the car (SGP builds some bada$$ rides), why didn't you suggest calling the shop on the history of the car. I'm sure they'd be willing to tell him any hick-ups that sprung up along the way.....and EVERYONE gets hick-ups when building cars like this.
Actually I did contact SGP racing and the president of the company knew the car personally. Here's what he replied with:
*****'s vehicle is one of the best kept, best built, vehicles there is. The vehicle is put together with the very best parts, best engine management & fueling system available. The shortblock has the best pieces available as well. Add a few things & the power just goes up from there. The vehicle is a a perfect daily driven car @ 500 RWHP + if wanted. I thought about purchasing the vehicle myself but, I have 3 already.. LOL.... If that is what you are looking for I would jump on it...
The guy is selling because he has a great real estate opportunity and since the car is paid for, he wants the cash to put down on the property.

dude, forget the spoiler...that car looks soo clean already. i think the stock spoiler looks fine. any other spoiler would kill the look (especially the v2 ).
As someone from Houston and have been scouring the import scene on websites, etc... I have to say the car is well-kept because I have not seen it on the road, nor seen at car meets with pictures. Driving Houston, the mileage will rack up, it seems very low, so the owner likely has a few cars in his stable. In comparison, my weekend 2005 (bought in 2004) has 10,500 miles and with 4 months to go it would be 3 years. I would have to give a thumbs up for that car, but If I was buying a sports car, I would buy new. Whatever makes you go, do it.

+1.
I personally wouldn't go FI unless I had a second vehicle or the Z was paid off and I had enough money to pay for a new engine.
