This guy needs a pimp slap!
Peace!
First...let me say thanks for using a picture of "my" car for the example above...
Yes...it is cream/pastel/dreamsicle under certain lighting conditions...
when I went to pick up the car my first reaction was...uhhhhhh....did I make a mistake? Because it was exactly that weird color in the picture sitting in the dealer garage...under flourescent lights...(that picture was taken 20 seconds before I drove away with my car)
Away I went with my new Z....I was inside so I didn't get to see it under the afternoon sun for an hour or so.....
parking it in the driveway under the full sun, changed my mind....it looked beautiful.....yellows and golds showing from every body section facing the sun....
it's not for everyone, but I'm sure glad I got it now...
I think it's gonna be a rare color....
Thanks!

I bought one last month and get lots of compliments. Looks great in full sun, when the flake pops out. It even looks nice at night. From a distance, its very flat and creamsicle. Worth the $500.
Put the Lambo paint chip side by side with the Solar Orange paint chip.
I think you will be rather surprised.
The paint code is almost dead on. Pics can be decieving
I honestly love my Solar. Some say it looks like a creamsicle as a joke, but they tell me they love it and the color pops when they look at it.
Diff strokes for diff folks. I got it cuz I love the color and I love limited things. makes me feel more special. lol

Unlike some of the other 1 year colors this one to me seems like a fad color. I think in a couple years I would get tired of it and end up having a hard time selling it to get another Z in a more appealing color.
I think for colors such as these, people really need to think about resale value. This color may well be for a specific person, but it's not for everyone. If that person's thinking about selling his car within the next few years, he'll have a real hard time, as it definitely isn't as popular as silver or black. However, if he's positive that he'll keep it for the long run, then why not? Maybe in 10 years, if it's been kept in good condition, will be labeled as a "rare" car?
