Solar Orange is an outrageous color!! Remember this is a throwback to the early Z's, Some posts refer to resale value and that can definately be a consideration but that is the kind of color that requires a committment. Same thing when I got my Z in Ultra Yellow. These colors are the kind that you either LOVE or HATE!! I get tons of compliments on my UY and if you set-up the car correctly the Solar Orange looks sick!!

Default solor orange zr

Hey,
Brought one (zr) last week in orlando. Was unsure when I first visited the dealership but the second time I went back I knew I had to have that car. Tinted the windows, added a bra and also some 20inch axis matrix wheels. I will try to post some pictures. Having a little problem with the wheels seems like I hear some rubbing noise when I go over some bumps. Are wheels to big? 245/35/20 frt 275/30/20 rear will change back ones to 285/30/20 next week back tires looked to stretched.

It can be a show winner, if it's done right.

That's the first time I have seen the SO with the Nismo v1 kit on it and I have to say it looks great, which is kinda handy as I pick my one up in 2 weeks time (with the v1 Nismo kit on it).

Do you have any more pics of that car but with the bonnet down?

don't worry, it'll be gone for the 08. That new 'dirty' red color (Nogaro) is replacing it as the 'special' color for next year.

i like it. too many people around here would be saying "oooooh are u fast n furiouZ!?"

i dont like dealing with that.... so silverstone is all me. props to anyone who gets a SO tho.

i was split between silverstone and interlagos fire... but figured paint would be a future issue.

It's actually the V2 Kit, not the V1. Here are some more pics of the Solar Orange Z. https://my350z.com/forum/event-photos/291821-peterson-nissan-meet-post-pics-here.html

Thanks mate, shame he doesn't have the cannards on otherwise it's very similar to the v1 kit. I know that the rear wing is the same as the v1 wing so at least it gives me some idea of what to expect the SO colour to look like with the kit on (my former Chilli Red (Redline for you guys) had the Nismo kit on it anyway).

Great looking car and gives me some ideas for engine bling.

Yeah
i didn't like it at first, but the more I looked at it....test drove it...looked at it again...I liked it. Plus you don't se to many of this particular color on the street. Definately a loud color....very noticable, but as long as you're doing what you're supposed to be doin'....you've got nothing to worry about

Yeah, it's not for everyone. That's why I went for the plane 'ol Chrome Silver myself. Daniel however, is making it into a show car and the SO is a great fit for what direction he's going for. It attracts the eye versus your everyday colors at the car shows.

No problem Simon. Great to see you're getting ideas for your Z.
