Why cant cars get here when they are supposed to?? My LeMans 6MT Performance was supposed to be here last friday, the 25th. My dealer just called and said it wont be here until May 9th! For some reason, its going to be held in Chicago for a whole week before it gets trucked up here to Michigan. I dont understand why its taking so long. Im about to drive down to Chicago myself and pick it up, i cant believe i have to wait a whole week more. At least i can stare at my nismo wing and my Injen CAI and pretend my Z is here. Sorry for the ranting, but Im one pissed off Chica.

I waited 7 months for mine

 

Damn, I bought one off the lot and decided to pick it up the next weekend, so I could work out my own finances and stuff. That was a long week!!!! I finally couldn't take it anymore and took that Friday off and got it. I drove out of the dealer about 11am and hardly got out of the car until after midnight. I kept coming home to rest but I knew that you only get one "first day with the new car", so I kept going back out and wandering the streets and whatnot. I know how you feel.

I've had it about 5 weeks now. It is cool!!!

 

That's interesting because my car arrived on the train to Chicago last week. It was put on the truck and I was supposed to get the car on Wednesday, the 30th but got it today instead - just 3 days late. But still...Mine went through Chicago with no problems. *shrug* Sorry to hear. Maybe your trucking company is having probs.

 

Sorry to hear about your wait. I lucked out with mine, spent a week haggling with dealers to find me a DB enthusiast, and then a dealer I had never talked to called me to tell me they would have one within 2-3 weeks. I went in the next day, gave him $500 and 8 days later had my car! It was a long week though, I am on impatient bastage.

The wait can be for all sorts of reasons, it's amazing to me that they move that many cars in and out of the country and keep track of when/where they are.
