Default Stealership Probs again!!

Well as you guys all know...dealerships always look for some BS to void your warranty...

Today i went in to the dealership to let them know about the window motor leaving that grease on the windows(it started to happen to me)...the guy looked at my car was like..."well it looks like you have window tint and that voids your warranty"...lol i seriously was like wtf?

does window tint void your warranty for the doors? the F**ker said that it makes the window thicker which in reality tint is like 1/4 of a milimeter...

some advice please

Then ask him why the dealer puts tint on the cars when it supposely voids the warranty. lol!

He can't void the warranty, its against the law.

Since I live in your area, I'd appreciate knowing what dealership it is, since I'm looking to buy a Z in a few months, once the 08s hit and the 07s are sitting on the lots.

Same way the dealer thought that my car being lowered caused synchro problems.
I politely called the tech advisor a ****ing idiot and asked for the service manager.

I suggest you do the same dude. That is just moronic.

What is up with the grease steaks. I just bought a 03 Touring a few months ago and constantly get these streaks on both windows. I did tint my windows a few days after having it and thought maybe they put it on there so it didnt move the tint for a few days until it was on good.

<---- previous Nissan employee in the Service Dept.... Tint doesn't void SHEOT!!!!! Remind the advisor of the CSI report you will get once the work is done and also grab the Service Manager and tell him it will be fixed under warranty and be sure to let them know what the Advisor told you. But FYI: being an *** isn't going to help. Be firm, don't back down, but don't be an ***.

Tell them you're leaving the car there to be fixed and if it isn't that they'll need to contact your lawyer about where to pick it up to be transported to another Nissan dealership at there expense. Give them your attorney's contact information, your contact information, say thank you, and walk out. Make sure you make your attorney aware of this first of course.

If you bought the car within 30 days, tell them you are leaving the car there and contacting the state lemon law authorities... that usually gets their attention.

The tint the dealer uses is thinner that's why theirs is ok Plus the heavier tint adds weight to the car causing more negative camber and the tires to feather, so you won't be able to get the dealer to fix any tire feathering issuses either.

I swear the things dealers come up with.
