I think around these parts what the OP did is called... gettin' on the freeway.

That whole taking off the bumper thing is overrated. If you can get the front of the car on ramps it will only take about an hour from start to finish.

yea installing my injen intake was abiotch
i unbolted the side of my bumper enough to get the little box out of the intake hole but i didnt even run cold air
im using it in short ram
even with the bumper off it would still be damn hard to get that rubber tube thru there to use it as CA

I think what the OP did was use an old *** jack to jack up 1 side, put boards underneath, then jack up the other side, repeat process...

I had to bend & crawl all around on the floor (I have a severe joint disorder), so it sucked pretty bad, plus I was working w/ 15% light in a garage at 8pm... couldnt see ****

IMO, after taking the bumper off & putting all of the hoses on, I cant even imagine it being possible... it was a pain in the *** even with the bumper off... I wouldnt ever try that. JMI

The 90 degree hose is easy.

Take it in your hands, put your thumb on the outside of the bend and push inward while you straiten the hose out. Now offer the hose up to your car and push the hose though the hole and let it pop back into shape once it gets past the cowl. I used more words than necessary so reading this should take longer than doing it.

and why would you say that?

I wasnt trying to sound like I did something no one else has done before, or even bragging about what I had done.. This post was simply for the other guys telling me to redline my car for the first time.
Fcking aholes on this board damn...

Decided to post some pictures of the Injen, after all the searching I did in the past, I couldnt ever find a good angle on a CAI pic to see where the filter actually went, so I took these.

Weird for the filter to show through the grill? I kinda like it

Yep, that's an injen (or nismo) intake allright. I wouldn't hit redline without one of those puppies just for safety purposes.
