umm, i said i feel like mine accelerates faster and knowing that the hr IS faster.

I was asking about the axles since i dont' know anyone with DR's and launched on a stock Z at the track with sticky asphault. I was asking if it would hold up.

Stock for stock, the 07 is faster. This has been discussed already.

The axles will hold up as long as you launch it correctly. Same goes with the previous models. We have people dumping the clutch at high rpms and busting the axles. They wonder why it breaks. Yet guys with 400+tq with crazy 60's have not broke 1 axle yet. Its just in the launch. Im sure if I dumped my clutch at 7k rpm with sticky tires ill break mine.

I am sorry that I got my hand the HKS exhaust before you but don't be bitter. First come first server my friend. We all are Z lovers here. No need for bashing or personal revenge.

Do some research. Lots of 07 owners here gets 13.6 to 14.2. Search my friend, search.

We proved the high-13 thing wrong. Of course people will run slower than the best... but with more practice will drop into the low 13's and possibly break 12's with a perfect run. Well, maybe the ones that have run low 13's to begin with, anyways.

Lots of 07 owners are still getting use to the 07 or switched from an auto to a 6spd with the 07.So people will be running the times they should be running with some practice.

So the 13.1 and 13.3 must be a fluke

There are some 03-05s that run mid to high 14s so that must be the norm.

There are lots of other factors contributed to 1/4 mile time: reaction time, temperature, elevation, tires, drivers, condition of the track...just to name a few. If all the conditions favor the car plus good driver, yes it's possible HR engine can run into mid 13. Most likely time should be high 13.

Possible to run mid-13's? Did you just ignore the low 13's posted?

Funny thing is, a lot of the low 13's posted up the drivers were having clutch issues. In other words, NOT in favorable conditions.
