Pat, are you sure that information is correct?

I called the publisher and they told me that they do not publish that book.

I'd appreciate it if you could confirm the publisher info.

Thank you,

Ethan

UPDATE 1: Scratch that, I got someone on the phone who know's what they're talking about, I'll post some availability info when I get it....

<B>
UPDATE 2: The publisher is checking shipping records to find out which stores (and when) will or already have this book in stock. They are going to call me back and I'll of course post that information here when I get it. She did mention that this book is already shipping, but most copies have gone overseas-

Pat,

What all is in the book? Is it details and pictures of the process they went through designing the Z33? Are there any pictures you haven't seen before? Just wondering if this is a printed version of the same info the enthusiasts already know and pictures we have already seen.

I work in the printing industry in Chicago. A few week ago, a friend of mine told me he saw a book about the Z being printed somewhere around town. I thought he was nuts since he knows just enough about cars to fill up the gas tank. I guess I owe him an apology. I may be heading over to Lincolnwood this week

Do not forget the other book that was presented to Sr. Leno,
a nice english language version of Sr. Katayamas life with Nissan.
I have the original in japanese but not as easy to read!

Cool

RxO..as usual, you are 100% accurate...the other book is called
Mr. K...Yutaka Katayama..A Man Who Realized A Dream In America

The Chapters in the "Lust, Then Love" book are titled
1 Legacy
2 Rebirth
3 Development
4 Technology
5 Details
6 Debut

It is a large format book approx 11.5" X 11.5" and is filled with beautiful photos and tech drawings and IMO a collector's edition

Hey Jay, if you find it, maybe you can look into some sorta group discount if we get enough interest here.

This is a limited run book. It may be difficult to find a 'first printing' copy. (most went to Japan)
BTW: The twin signature copy that Sr. Leno received is 1 of only 12 so inscribed.

Which book are we talking about, the "Lust, Then Love...The Story Of The New Z" one or the "Mr. K...Yutaka Katayama..A Man Who Realized A Dream In America" one?

Frank...I think we are talking about the Lust, Then Love book as being limited production...the 1 of 12 that RxO referred to is an issue that is signed by both Mr. K and Carlos Goshn (sp?)....that is the book that was presented to Jay...

It would be nice to see that book resting under the rear strut bar of all of our pre-ordered Zzzz when we take delivery. A nice gift to those of us who showed the faith in Nissan and the Z.

Anyone else notice that Ron Sessions is also the author of the Motor Trend article on the Z?
