I just keep my nissan cover on my car at all times when im not driving her that makes a big difference.But birds can be brutal no remorse lol they just **** and run.

 

Bird poop hasnt even touched my car since I picked up up a few months back.... I've just relized this.

 

birds like to **** on shiny things, when my z has the cover on i have never found a terd but uncovered for 10 mins it gets it r kelly style

Just out of curiosity, why did you wait a day to wax? Even though the car is garage kept, the dust that settles on it in the interim would require a rewash before waxing.

This one time at band camp, I was a passenger in a chrysler convertible vehicle. We were going home when it happened, I felt something splat on my head, took my fingers and rubbed it to see what it was, BIRD SHEYAT on my head! What an areal attack!

 

I think i've had two bird shyt attacks on my car in almost a year.. dunno why everyone says it "always" happens *scratches forehead*

 

Bump because this just happened to me yesterday....literally 2 minutes after I finish washing it, BOOM right on my rear window.

 

You have to learn how to maneuver your Z to dodge those bombs & missiles. You have a fast car and you need to learn how to use it.

 

I washed mine and had it almost perfect. It was parked outside on our driveway and my wife decided the lawn needed watering. Spots everywhere...

Truth! I worked part time at Best Buy and when i got my 03 SB they made it PPW. Never failed. It's not as bad with the 06. Must be the metallic finish in the paint.

I clicked on this thread cuz' this sht happens to me ALL the time...f'n birds.
Yesterday I washed my car and went for a cruise w/ a bud and his car. I parked it outside last night and the wife and I go out this morning to leave for work and it was the worst attack ever. Not only was it bird shat on, but somehow they/it??..found a way to to a pok-a-dot sht on it. I have no f'n clue how, but there was bird shat in spots from the front left fender/hood, BOTH doors AND SIDE MIRRORS, roof, hatch, rear bumper....WTF?!? I was so pissed...I had to quickly rinse and wiper her down and was late for work. If it was a weekend, I would have takin' pics. because it was the worst hit ever.
To the OP, thanks for reminding me I was just sippin' a drink trying to forget about it.

 

this is true my car hasnt gone threw 2 days without haveing a bid poop on it but hey the birds are just jealous that we drive such nice cars

 

dont know if its true but i heard somewhere that the color of the car plays a factor in the frequency of gettting pooped on
