Picking up my Z
After 2 1/2 months of waiting, I will finally be able to collect my Z next week - can't wait.
I recall reading another post where a member wrote an e-mail to his dealer, prior to collecting his car, outlining what he expected the dealer to do for pre-delivery. I was impressed by the content of the mail and would like to search for the thread, but I don't know how to do it.
Would someone kindly advise how I may initiate a search for this e-mail / thread or direct me to it as I would like to send a similar mail to my dealer.
Thanks in advance.

Michael,
For such searches just go to the forum that has the info you're looking for, General, in this case. Then list some keywords that you know will be in the post of interest. Since you're probably concerned about them mounting a front PLATE, maybe not wanting them to WAX the car, and not wanting anyone else to DRIVE your new car, you could just enter "plate wax drive" (without the quotes) in the forum search box in the lower right.
For this entry I got several hits. You can try other searches.
For one such response by the infamous "Droid", click HERE.
hth, and congrats on getting your new Z.
edit: Oh, I saw your username was KY350 so I assumed you were from Kentucky, but you're not! I should have said "Gooday Mate!"

Thanks for the link - you're a mind reader. The messages by Droid and VandyZ will come in very handy.
Also, my thanks go to Mickey and Rob Nance for the info they sent.
All you guys are fantastic. If you are ever in my part of the world, let me know and I'd be glad to show you around (perhaps even knock the head off a few coldies).

Funnily enough, I had to swerve to miss a wallaby (baby roo) last night in the wet
- first (alive) one I've ever encountered on the road.
I'll stick with the fat insurance premium and leave the ugly roobars to the Toyota FWDs.
