I hope to see this happen in the future as well. Don't listen to a lot of people on this board. Everyone has something negative to say about everything. Would this be expensive? Yes. Time consuming? Yes. Would the engine be really, really hard to come by in the first few years? Yes. Would it be cheaper and make more sense to get 550whp on the stock Z's engine? Yes.

But modding isn't about what makes sense. We need more pople that are willing to try things like this in order to forward our cars into the future of the modding community. Everyone loves to "poo poo" these ideas but then they are the first posting the thread with the link to the 350z with the "NEW GTR ENGINE"...

I'm sure it could be done, although you'd probably be spending enough to buy another Z to do so.....

That will decimate all. After you put about fifteen grand or more under the hood. If you have to, overnight parts from JAPAN.

If you find a totaled one in a junkyard, have at it. Would be awesome to see the GTR motor in a Z.

Keep it RWD, though.

i dont see that either look at how much money they are asking for the 350 and 370z and then look at the GT-R that would be crazy if that was the case then if would make people just swap the car for the power and not the car. The key to selling a car is to make money off of the product that is why they give cars kicker sound systems and aftermarket turbo kits to keep people from messing with the car from the factory.....
