Hi guys,

I was interested in finding out the weights of specific stock parts. Mainly, the important stuff like those parts with rotational mass.

Specifically:
flywheel
wheels

And what kind of options are there for me if I'm looking for a light flywheel, and how many lbs will it shave off?

 

Stock touring rims weigh 28lbs

19inch
Volk LE/TE37 in 19's 19 lbs front and 20.5lbs rear

18inch
Volk TE37 weigh like 17lbs i think
Work Emotions are light too.
Enkei RP Series
Many light 18's out there

As far as flywheel, stock weighs I believe 23lbs

JWT is 13lbs
Fidanza, Clutchmasters, Nismo also make them but Im
not sure....

Before I ran my mouth and said 28LBs on the FW, I went out and got one and put it on a digital scale----27LBs 11.5 OZs

 

wow I am suprised the 19" track wheel weighs nearly 30lbs - the old 18" track wheels were much lighter

 

The old Track wheels were 18x8" front/ 18x8.5" rear. The new track wheels are 18x9" front/ 19x10" rear.

 

Kind of in that area. A stock axle assembly weighs 11kgs.
