Well, here in Nashville... WE HAVE.

As a member of the Middle Tennessee Z Club - Carter Thompson took it upon himself and pulled his enthusiast out of autoXing for the week... and put it up against some of the best the country had to offer.

His partner Jeremy Sweeney has been kind enough to endure the painful long distance drives from track to track after having to only WATCH all the fun during the day!!!

With only two tracks left... and just leaving Memphis, Carter got the chance to stop in at the shop for some due maintenace... oil change, brakes, and air filter... and back on the road he went.

Wish I could have come last night. I had a tree down in my yard, and last night was the first chance I'd gotten with the weather to cut it up and move it.

 

Hey all,

Well, made the trip to Beaver Run for the event's last track day. After leaving Ontario around 6:00am we arrived in Wampum, after driving through a pounding rain storm (no problems with my newly installed Injen!).

It was a great day, with the sun finally breaking through in the early afternoon.

Had a nice chat with Carter about the race, the experience and the adventure that is "One Lap".

Saw him run the car around the big track at great speed!

Awesome job guys!

I took some video and will upload it later.

As we left I believe that "Team Z" was second in the SSGT2 class behind this crazy Nitrous powered, fully race-prepped Ford Probe. Hey Carter, if it wasn't for those brackets, eh?

Great to see the guys and the car in action!
